Gas from the Black Sea field "Sakarya" is expected to be delivered to Turkish consumers by the end of April, Energy and Natural Resources Minister of Türkiye Fatih Donmez told TRT, Report informs.
"We followed the plan, but there was a delay due to earthquakes. We plan to start deliveries by the end of April," he said.
The Sakarya field was discovered in 2020. Its reserves are about 400 billion cubic meters of gas. After the start of deliveries, 10 million cubic meters of fuel per day will be supplied from the field. By 2028, this figure should increase to 40 million cubic meters.
