Report informs citing the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) that it is 18.9% more than a year earlier.
Azerbaijan ranked second in Turkey's total gas imports.
The leader is Russia, which exported 2,948,000,000 cubic meters to Turkey. On an annual basis, Turkey's gas imports from Russia increased by 56.4%. Iran ranked third with 818 million cubic meters. Compared to last year, the volume of natural gas imports from Iran fell by 4%.
During the reporting period, gas imports to Turkey increased by 15.6% year on year. Thus, it reached 6,260,000,000 cubic meters. According to EPDK, 4,861,000,000 cubic meters were transported via pipelines, which is 32.9% more than a year earlier.
