In January 2022, 2,980,700 tons of oil were transported via Azerbaijan’s main oil pipelines, 5.7% less than in the same period last year, Report informs, referring to the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.
In the reporting period, 77.2% of transportation or 2,299,900 million tons of oil were carried out through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, 8.3% less than the same last period year.
Over the past year, more than 430,100 tons of transit oil were transported via the BTC pipeline, 55.8% higher than in January 2022.
