Transit of Russian gas through Ukraine may reach 42.1 mcm

The transit of Russian gas through the territory of Ukraine on May 31 may amount to about 42.1 million cubic meters per day, Report informs citing TASS.

There are no nominations for gas transit from Russia as of May 31 through the Sohranivka gas distribution station, and through the Sudzha station they amount to 42.12 million cubic meters.

At the moment, Gazprom supplies gas to Europe in transit through Ukraine through the Sudzha gas measuring station, and applications for pumping through Sohranivka are rejected by the Ukrainian side.

At the maximum, applications from Europe reached 109.6 million cubic meters in early March.
