Total: First gas will be extracted from Absheron field in coming weeks

In the coming weeks, the first gas will be extracted from the Absheron gas-condensate field in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, TotalEnergies Senior Vice President Europe, Jean-Luc Guiziou, said at the Baku Energy Week, Report informs.

According to the Vice Preisdent, Azerbaijan plays an important role in gas supply to Europe.
