Azeri LT CIF crude oil soars above $ 45

The price for Azeri LT CIF crude oil, exported from Azerbaijan to the world markets, increased $ 0.06 or 0.13%.

Report informs that Azeri Light has settled at $ 45.45 per barrel.

The lowest amount for Azeri LT CIF was recorded on April 21, 2020 ($ 15.81), and in July 2008, the maximum rate was $ 149.66.

Notably, oil climbed to the highest level nearly two weeks after an explosion at Lebanon’s main port rocked the capital Beirut, stoking fears over instability in the region.

Footage showed what appeared to be a fire, followed by crackling lights and then a more massive explosion as an enormous cloud of smoke engulfed the area around the Port of Beirut. Authorities say it was caused by highly explosive materials at the port but didn’t immediately tell if it was an accident or an attack.
