Tengiz oil transportation via Tengiz-Novorossiysk pipeline reaches about 16M tons

The volume of oil transportation from Kazakhstan’s Tengiz field in January-July 2024 amounted to about 16 million tons of oil, Report informs referring to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC).

“Today, a working meeting was held in Atyrau between CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban and Tengizchevroil General Manager for Marketing and Transportation Lori Sasko. The parties discussed the issues of fulfilling current and future applications for the transportation of oil from the Tengiz field via the Tengiz-Novorossiysk oil pipeline, including taking into account the current repair work at the field in 2024,” the message says.

CPC has timely implemented the Bottleneck Elimination Program and is fully prepared to receive increased volumes of oil at the terminal, including from the Tengiz field.

In 2024, CPC plans to transport about 65.2 million tons of Kazakh oil. In 2023, CPC ensured the transportation and shipment for export of 63.47 million tons of oil (an increase of 8.1%).
