Since the beginning of this year, especially after the change of administration in the US, market volatility has been largely shaped by the information background and headlines in the media, SOCAR Trading Commercial Director Taghi Taghi-Zada said during the Caspian and Central Asia Oil trading and logistics forum in Baku, Report informs.
"That is why it is extremely important to accurately record and analyze incoming information, monitor data flows on a daily basis and understand how various factors affect the current situation. Previously, we could build long-term forecasts based on economic indicators and established estimates, limiting ourselves to minor adjustments. Today, in my opinion, we live in a new reality, where flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt are key - be it in production, logistics, trading or processing," he noted.
