STAR Refinery sees sharp decline in monthly diesel output

The STAR Refinery, an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Türkiye, produced 318,865 tons of diesel fuel in June 2024, Report informs, citing Turkish Energy Market Regulation Authority (EMRA).

According to the obtained data, the production dropped by 242,354 tons or 43.2% compared to the corresponding month in 2023.

Overall, Türkiye’s oil refineries produced over 1.26 million tons of diesel fuel in June 2024, which is a decrease of 3.06% less year-on-year.
