STAR oil refinery doubles aviation fuel production

In July of this year, the STAR refinery (NEZ), an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Turkiye, produced 146,362 tons of kerosene fuel for jet engines, 71,295 tons or 1.95 times more than a year earlier, Report informs, citing the Energy Market Regulatory Authority of Turkiye (EPDK).

In total, 483,897 tons of kerosene fuel for jet engines (aircraft) were produced at oil refineries in Turkiye in July, which is 115,948 tons or 31.5% higher than in July 2021.

In July 2021, the STAR refinery produced 75,067 tons of kerosene fuel for jet engines.
