Spain frees 4 million barrels of oil due to the situation around Ukraine

The Spanish government decided to free up 4 million barrels of oil from its reserves in connection with the situation around Ukraine, according to the decree published on Friday in the kingdom's official government gazette, Report informs, citing TASS.

"Spain will gradually contribute [by freeing] 4 million barrels of oil," the decree says. The decision was made as part of a coordinated action by the International Energy Agency in response to the situation around Ukraine.
