SOCAR Türkiye signs cooperation protocol with famous technology company Honeywell

SOCAR Türkiye, a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan in Türkiye and one of the leading foreign direct investors, has signed a cooperation protocol with the world-famous technology company Honeywell, Report informs, referring to the Turkish press.

The head of the Strategy Department of SOCAR Türkiye, Kenan Mirzayev, and Honeywell President of High Growth Regions, Türkiye, Israel and Central Asia, Uygar Doyuran, participated in the signing ceremony of the cooperation protocol.

Under the cooperation protocol, the two companies will develop sustainability projects on issues such as monitoring and management of carbon emissions, energy efficiency, sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), and advanced plastic recycling.

These projects include technologies that quickly detect, manage, and mitigate gas leaks in industrial facilities, and digitization solutions transforming operational data into efficiency-driven insights that can help reduce energy intensity without impacting productivity.

The two companies will also work together to provide sustainable aviation fuel production using Honeywell technology and advanced chemical recycling of waste plastics using SOCAR Türkiye's petrochemical and logistics capabilities in the value chain.
