SOCAR Turkey, a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), has strengthened cooperation with SAP within the Project Earth program, Report informs referring to the Turkish media.
SOCAR Turkey will improve old systems using SAP S/4HANA and Analytics Cloud solutions as part of a single SAP S/4HANA system that combines STAR Refinery, SOCAR Distribution and SOCAR Storage systems.
The company is ready to support the digital transformation of finance, centralized purchasing, commercial operations, maintenance and repair, business intelligence and master data management processes.
During the initial phase of Project Earth, more than 8,000 test phases were completed with the involvement of more than 100 SAP consultants in procurement and logistics, asset management, trade and finance.
The project, the preparation of which took six weeks, was completed in a short time of up to 16 months. The project, which aims to create a modern, unified and centralized system instead of legacy and disparate applications, also aims to increase employee satisfaction.
