At the meeting between the President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), Rovshan Najaf, and the President of TotalEnergies Exploration and Production, Nicolas Terraz, the Early Production Scheme (EPS) of the Absheron gas condensate field, which began production in early July, as well as the project's underwater well and management systems, technical and technological operations were discussed, Report informs, citing SOCAR.
According to the information, the sides expressed satisfaction with the long-term cooperation between SOCAR and TotalEnergies. It was stated that the jointly implemented projects made an important contribution to Azerbaijan's energy security and increased production potential.
The parties also reviewed the work to be done within the framework of the first phase of the full-scale development of the Absheron gas-condensate field (Phase-1 project) and exchanged views on future cooperation opportunities and other issues of mutual interest.
