The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and the French company TotalEnergies reviewed the second stage (Phase-2) of the development of the Absheron gas-condensate field in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, as well as potential opportunities for cooperation in the field of oil-gas and renewable energy, Report informs, citing SOCAR.
These issues were discussed in the meeting of SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf with TotalEnergies Senior Vice President Europe Jean-Luc Guiziou held today in Baku.
At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the long-term cooperative relations between SOCAR and TotalEnergies, the work done within the framework of the first stage (Phase-1) of the development of the Absheron gas-condensate field - Early Production System (EPS), the current state of the project, modern technological and safety systems were discussed.
