In March 2021, SOCAR Energy Ukraine, a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan, imported 2,200 tons of aviation fuel to the Eastern European country, Report informs referring to the Ukrainian media.
According to A-95 Consulting Group, 900 tons of aviation fuel imported into the country by the Azerbaijani company was delivered from Lithuania, and 1,300 tons - from Belarus.
Total aviation fuel supplies from Lithuania to Ukraine, compared to March 2020, decreased by 41%, to 4,400 tons.
Supplies from Belarus by SOCAR Energy Ukraine dropped by 82.7% to 1,300 tons as of February 2021.
Imports of aviation fuel to the Ukrainian market in March 2021 fell by 16.5%, to 7,300 tons compared to the same period last year, when they amounted to 8,700 tons.
Following the results of the first three months of this year, 18,800 tons of aviation fuel were imported to Ukraine, which is 49% less than in January-March last year.
