SOCAR sign new documents with BP and Masdar

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and BP have signed a new cooperation agreement at a special session on the development of the potential of green energy in the Karabakh and East Zangazur Economic Regions organized in Shusha today as part of the Baku Energy Forum.

Report informs that the document was inked by First Vice President and Acting President of SOCAR Rovshan Najaf and BP's Regional Director Gary Jones.

The agreement envisages exploring the country's potential in renewables, cooperation in this sphere, and implementation of joint projects.

Moreover, SOCAR and Masdar signed a memo of mutual understanding. The document was inked by Rovshan Najaf and Masdar Clean Energy Acting Executive Director Fawaz Al Muharrami. The memo provides for cooperation in renewables.
