SOCAR Petroleum installs charging equipment in gas stations 

In a joint project, SOCAR Petroleum CJSC and Czar International have commenced installing charging equipment at gas stations under the SOCAR brand, Report informs.

The first charging equipment was installed at the SOCAR gas station on the Salyan highway, near the Bibiheybat mosque. This charging equipment is capable of charging two electric vehicles simultaneously. Having a capacity of 20 kW, it may charge a car in full in 30-60 minutes, depending on the model.

By the end of this year, the charging equipment by Czar International will be installed and put into operation at all gas stations operating under the SOCAR brand on the Absheron peninsula and in Siyazan, Gusar, Shemakha, Sheki, Goran, Hajigabul, Gobustan, Salyan, Lerik and in Shusha. Within the framework of the project, Czar International will arrange sales of electric vehicles in our country and provide technical services. Execution of this project will contribute to the development of priority "Clean environment and the country of "green growth," one of directions of "Azerbaijan 2030: National priorities for socio-economic development", approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 2, 2021.

Czar International was founded in Singapore in 2014 and is a distributor of LINGSTAR company in the markets of Azerbaijan and Georgia. Czar International is a company dedicated to the application of environmental technologies in the transport sector and agriculture. The company currently operates in Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Georgia, and Azerbaijan.

SOCAR Petroleum CJSC was founded in 2008 to develop transport infrastructure and provision of quality services in the area of oil product distribution. The company's first filling station was opened on May 7, 2010. The company operates 39 filling stations and 11 oil terminals, one compressed natural gas terminal, and nine CNG stations. SOCAR Petroleum employs over 2000 people.
