SOCAR, KazMunayGaz mull boosting transit of Kazakh oil via Azerbaijan

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and Kazakhstan's KazMunayGaz National Company discussed increasing the transit volume and trade of Kazakhstani crude oil through the territory of Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing SOCAR.

The issue was discussed at a meeting between SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf and KazMunayGas Board Chairman Askhat Khasenov.

At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the dynamic development of strategic partnership relations between the two companies.

The parties reviewed the work done on expanding mutually beneficial cooperative relations between SOCAR and KazMunayGaz and exchanged views on various issues.

The delegation visited the Azertrans and Sangachal terminals and viewed the conditions created there.
