SOCAR increases gas production by nearly 4%

In 2023, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 8.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas (+0.3 bcm, or 3.7%), Report informs, citing SOCAR.

A total of 48.3 bcm of gas (+3.2%, or 1.5 bcm) were produced across the country in the reporting period. Of this, 12.9 billion cubic meters were produced from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli block of fields (-$0.5 bcm, or 3.73%), 26.2 billion cubic meters from the Shah Deniz field (+1 bcm, or 4%), and 0.8 billion cubic meters from the Absheron field.
