SOCAR: Greenhouse gas emissions were reduced at Urea Plant

Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions at the Urea Plant of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has been ensured, Azad Huseynov, Chief Information Officer of Caspian Innovation Center (CIC), a subsidiary of SOCAR, said on the 5th day of Baku Climate Action Week, Report informs.

"The ENOM (Energy Network Optimizing Model) system is used in SOCAR. This artificial intelligence-based system is applied at the Urea Plant. We see many positive results from the efficiency point of view. The most important of them is that we managed to reduce emissions. More precisely, a reduction in the level of waste produced by 2,000 cars every year has been ensured," he said.
