SOCAR Green in talks with several industrial enterprises on co-op in decarbonization

One of the main goals of SOCAR Green, a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), is to support the decarbonization process, Director of SOCAR Green Elmir Musayev said in Baku at an event on the topic "Innovative Pathways to a Greener Future: Renewable Energy and Emission Reduction," Report informs.

"Our main goal is to develop and manage renewable energy projects in Azerbaijan. Another goal is to support the decarbonization of SOCAR's oil and gas facilities. We collaborate and coordinate with various segments of SOCAR to understand what can be done to decarbonize these facilities," he added.

Musayev noted that the company is also negotiating with some industrial enterprises in Azerbaijan to determine areas of cooperation on decarbonization issues.
