The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is exploring cooperation opportunities with US-based CISCO company in the field of digitalization, SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf said on X, Report informs.
Rovshan Najaf noted that today he met with CISCO's Senior Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer Mary De Wysocki:
"In a meeting with Mary De Wysocki, Senior Vice-President and Chief Sustainability Officer of CISCO, we explored collaboration opportunities in digitalization, focusing on network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and automation. We discussed how leveraging CISCO's cutting-edge IT solutions can drive the digital transformation of operations, improve efficiency, and enhance security across the energy value chain. This partnership aligns with our ongoing efforts to incorporate innovative technologies to optimize energy management and contribute to a more sustainable and resilient future."
