SOCAR and Uzbekneftgas to exchange experience on environmental safety

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and the Uzbekneftgas Company of Uzbekistan held talks on exchanging technology and experience in environmental safety, and an agreement was reached on the mutual exchange of experience.

Report informs, citing the Uzbek press, that was announced in a meeting between Rafiga Huseynzade, SOCAR's vice-president for ecology, and the Uzbekneftgas company officials held within the framework of the 2nd Economic Forum of Uzbekistan in Samarkand.

The parties also held negotiations on joint implementation of investment projects in the oil and gas sector and their future prospects, as well as geological exploration.

According to the information, Huseynzade also discussed the current status of the previously reached agreements between the two companies, especially the results of the signed joint Roadmaps and memoranda.
