The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and BP have reviewed possible opportunities for cooperation on the involvement of their staff in joint training, Report informs, citing SOCAR.
SOCAR’s head office hosted an annual review meeting to enhance the development of local staff under production sharing agreements.
BP’s 2023 report was presented during a meeting attended by SOCAR Vice Presidents Ziba Mustafayeva and Babak Huseynov, along with BP Vice Presidents Leyla Mammadova and Russell Morrice for Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Türkiye.
The sides acknowledged that the ongoing collaboration between the companies has been effective across various areas, including the growth of local human capital.
The participants expressed confidence that the mutually advantageous relationship will persist in the future, guided by principles of stability. Additionally, the sides stressed the significance of knowledge exchange.
