Slovakia in talks with Qatar on replacement of Russian gas

Slovakia is in talks with Qatar about possible options for gas supplies from this country to replace supplies from Russia.

Report informs citing RIA Novosti that Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia Ivan Korchok said on Sunday during the international Doha forum.

"Today I held talks with representatives of Qatar on possible options for the supply of liquefied natural gas from this country," the Slovak Foreign Minister said.

He recalled that oil supplies to the country come only from Russia. In addition, 85% of the gas used in the country comes from Russia.
