Shahbazov: Agreement to be signed soon on large-scale green energy projects in Shusha

Transformative processes capable of changing the dynamics of Azerbaijan's energy system are taking place, and a completely different page is opening in the energy history of the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said on the first day of the Baku Energy Forum.

Shahbazov noted that in two days, a new contract on large-scale green energy projects will be signed in Shusha, the pearl of Karabakh.

"Such sustainable initiatives are an indication of the international interest in the green energy policy of the President of Azerbaijan that identifies renewable energy sources as a strategic priority in the country's development. It is an adequate response of investors to the call to use the rich renewable energy potential of the liberated areas in the concept of a zero-emission green energy zone," Shahbazov said.
