Saltuk Duzyol: 2.42 billion cubic meters of additional gas volumes supplied to Europe via TANAP

The Trans-Anatolian Gas Pipeline (TANAP) has transported 46.08 billion cubic meters of Azerbaijani natural gas from the day it was put into operation until May 27, 2023, TANAP Consortium General Manager Saltuk Duzyol told Report.

According to him, 21.93 billion cubic meters of supplied natural gas were transported to Türkiye and 24.15 billion cubic meters to Europe.

Duzyol said that 2.42 billion cubic meters of natural gas delivered to Europe was given for additional gas supply:

"The work related to the expansion of TANAP is being continued. Pipeline engineering works are ongoing."

He noted that they are waiting for the signing of sales contracts between gas buyers and gas sellers companies: "After that, gas-transit agreements will be updated. Investments will be started after the pipeline expansion investment decisions are made."
