Khoshbakht Yusifzada is known in every country, and is mentioned every time when it comes to the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf said at the farewell ceremony for the late Khoshbakht Yusifzada, Report informs.
Najaf noted that the role of Khoshbakht Yusifzada in the development of the oil and gas industry of Azerbaijan is invaluable: “He not only had deep knowledge, but also willingly shared it. He had an answer to any question.”
The SOCAR president added that Khoshbakht Yusifzada also played a significant role in the implementation of the oil strategy, which underlies today’s economic activities of Azerbaijan, and the author of which is national leader Heydar Aliyev.
“He was the author of many scientific works and monographs. His works are now reference books for teachers of educational institutions and geologists. Khoshbakht Yusifzada walked a glorious path, served his homeland and was an example for young people, in particular for those who work in the oil industry,” he said.
