4 GW of energy will be exported through the green energy corridor, Azerbaijani Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov said at the 5th ministerial meeting held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, for the implementation of the “Agreement on a Strategic Partnership in the Field of Green Energy Development and Transmission between the Governments of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania, and Hungary”, Report informs, citing the ministry.
At the event, Peter Szijjarto, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, represented Hungary, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili represented Georgia, and Energy Minister Sebastian Burduja represented Romania. The representatives of Bulgaria, the European Commission, transmission system operators from four countries and the CESI company also attended the meeting.
