In January-March 2025, 52.243 million barrels of oil were transported through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline via Turkish territory, Report informs with reference to Türkiye's BOTAŞ company.
According to the company, this is 3.079 million barrels or 5.6% less compared to the first three months of 2024.
In March 2025, 18.625 million barrels of oil were transported through the BTC pipeline via Turkish territory. This is 737,000 barrels or 3.8% less compared to March 2024.
In 2024, 224.142 million barrels of oil were transported through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline via Turkish territory.
Currently the BTC pipeline mainly transports oil produced from Azerbaijan's Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) block of fields and condensate extracted from the Shah Deniz field. In addition, other volumes of crude oil and condensate, including oil from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan, are also transported via BTC.
