Azerbaijan is currently working on investment projects with a total capacity of 7 gigawatts, Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov announced at the INMerge Innovation Summit organized by PASHA Holding LLC in Baku, Report informs.
Jabbarov highlighted regional cooperation in these projects, stating, “Energy has been one of the most important sectors of the country’s economy, but the concept of energy is shifting from traditional fuel sources to renewable sources. Along with exporting oil and gas, Azerbaijan has begun implementing projects to export green energy.”
