Korean companies keen on participating in projects in Azerbaijan 

Korean companies are keen on participating in the projects in Azerbaijan, Ambassador Lee Eun Yong said at a meeting with the Azerbaijani Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov, Report informs.

The sides touched upon the development of diplomatic relations and economic and trade relations between the two countries and discussed the current state and future prospects of cooperation in the energy sector.

The ambassador said that Korean companies have high technological capabilities and extensive experience in the energy field, including the use of renewable energy sources, and are interested in taking part in the projects in Azerbaijan.

The Energy Minister noted that the meetings held during the visits of high-level Korean delegations to Baku last year gave impetus to the development of relations between the two countries and created ample opportunities for future cooperation in the energy sector.

The meeting also focused on other issues of mutual interest.
