Kazakhstan reveals damage caused by accident at CPC

The damage caused to Kazakhstan by an accident at the mooring of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium is expected to be between $220 million and $230 million, country's Finance Minister Yerulan Zhamaubaev told journalists on Tuesday, Report informs, citing TASS.

"No one can name the exact figure at the moment, everything will depend on the time it will take to fix the damage and whether sanction measures will follow. So far, the damage from the accident at CPC is estimated at around 100 billion to 150 billion tenges ($220 million to $230 million dollars)," he said.
