Hafiz Pashayev: Caspian states can work on joint energy projects

Caspian states can work on joint energy projects, ADA University Rector Hafiz Pashayev said during the closing ceremony of the 16th Baku Energy School.

The rector noted that Azerbaijan occupies an important position in the oil and gas market, and this began with the signing of the Contract of the Century in 1994.

Pashayev also noted the generally positive work of the Baku Summer Energy School: "I would ask our program director to think about the future program of the school and adjust it to new realities."

Then, the ceremony of presenting certificates to the participants of the summer energy school was held, and it was attended by SOCAR Vice President for Investments and Marketing Elshad Nasirov.

The event is jointly organized by the Institute for Development and Diplomacy (IDD), the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), BP Azerbaijan, Kolin, Masdar, and TotalEnergies.

Baku Summer Energy School has been held annually since 2007.

This year it was attended by 42 participants from 12 countries.
