Germany’s position on Nord Stream 2 unchanged

Germany hasn’t changed its position on Nord Stream 2, the certification of which was stopped in February, making it impossible to operate, according to a representative of the German Cabinet of Ministers, Report informs referring to TASS.

Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that the German government was suspending the certification of the Nord Stream 2 project after Russia recognized the sovereignty of the so-called DPR and LPR. Then US President Joe Biden ordered his administration to impose sanctions on the company - the operator of the Nord Stream 2 AG project and representatives of its management.
