Georgia imported 27,500 tonnes of oil bitumen last month, up 8,200 tonnes from previous year, Report informs citing Georgia's Union of Petroleum Products Importers.
Of this volume of import, Iran accounted for 80.7% or 22,200 tonnes
Georgia imported 3,200 tonnes from Iraq, 1,900 tonnes from Azerbaijan, 200 tonnes from Turkey. Azerbaijan’s share in Georgia’s total oil bitumen import amounted to 6.9%.
In January-August 2019, Georgia imported 110,500 tonnes, which is 52,400 tonnes more than a year earlier.
