Gas prices in Europe rise by over 1%

Exchange prices for gas in Europe rose by 1.3% on Monday after the opening of trading, Report informs.

September (nearest) futures on the TTF index - the largest hub in Europe, located in the Netherlands - opened trading at $409.2 (-1.9 %). Further, the cost increased to $406.9 (+1.3%).

The dynamics of quotations is based on the settlement price of the previous trading day - $401.5 per thousand cubic meters.
