Exchange gas prices in Europe on September 9 fell by almost 2.6% and are trading slightly above $2,200 per 1,000 cubic meters, Report informs referring to the data of the London Stock Exchange ICE.
October futures (according to the index of the largest European hub TTF) opened trading at $2,280.3 per 1,000 cubic meters (+0.5%), but soon went down. Then they gradually declined to $2,210.4. The dynamics of quotations is based on the settlement price of the previous day - $2,269 per 1,000 cubic meters.
In early March, gas prices in Europe, due to fears of a ban on the import of Russian energy resources, renewed their historical highs for four days in a row. The price record of $3,892 per 1,000 cubic meters was reached on March 7.
