Gas injection into European underground storage facilities continues, but its pace has decreased compared to the summer months, Report informs via Gas Infrastructure Europe.
According to data as of September 20, UGS facilities were filled to 86.46%, the daily increase was 0.22 percentage points. The average injection rate in September is 0.3 p.p. per day, while in August the indicator was at the level of 0.37 p.p.
At the current injection rate, a 90% UGS filling level can only be expected by October.
At the same time, Russian gas supplies to Europe remain limited. Nord Stream traffic has been suspended indefinitely due to equipment malfunction, and transit through Ukraine is carried out only through the Sudzha GIS.
