G7 countries to refuse Russian gas

The energy ministers of the G7 countries agreed to continue the work to refuse the import of Russian gas, as stated in the ministers' statement on the results of the meeting held in Turin, Italy, Report informs with reference to TASS.

They also mentioned that reducing Russia's income from energy exports is critical to supporting Ukraine. Separately, the G7 countries have confirmed their readiness to reduce dependence on civilian goods related to Russian nuclear energy.

The Group of Seven (G7) is an intergovernmental political and economic forum consisting of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States; additionally, the European Union (EU) is a "non-enumerated member.".
