EU Council of Ministers agrees on measures to reduce electricity prices

The EU Council of Ministers for Energy came to a political agreement on the adoption of measures aimed at reducing electricity prices at a meeting in Brussels on Friday.

Report informs citing TASS that this is stated in the message of the Czech Representation to the EU. The presiding country in the community is the Czech Republic.

"An agreement has been reached on energy!" noted the representative office of the presidency, "The ministers have reached a political agreement on the adoption [in the community] of measures aimed at reducing the high prices of electricity."
