CPC stops receiving oil from Tengiz into system due to overstocking

The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) has stopped pumping oil into the tank farm of the company’s marine terminal near Novorossiysk, as well as taking oil into the system from the Tengiz field in Kazakhstan due to overstocking, Report informs referring to TASS.

“As of February 22, 2023, due to overstocking, the acceptance of oil into the CPC system from the Tengiz field at the Tengiz oil pumping station was stopped. Oil pumping to the tank farm of the CPC marine terminal was also stopped,” the company said.

At the same time, oil is received at Atyrau and Komsomolskaya oil pumping stations in reduced modes.
