The energy crisis will be the main topic of the summit of the heads of state and government of the European Union, which will be held October 20-21 in Brussels, European Council President Charles Michel wrote in a letter addressed to the leaders of the community countries, Report informs citing TASS.
Michel added that EU leaders at the summit will discuss assistance to Ukraine in preparation for the coming winter.
He added that the summit participants will also discuss measures to protect the critical infrastructure of the community after the sabotage at Nord Stream pipelines.
