Bulgarian companies are interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan in the development of renewable energy and energy efficiency through the development and implementation of new technologies for a modern and sustainable energy sector, Bulgarian Energy Minister Alexander Nikolov said in an interview with Report.
"They are leaders in the field of photovoltaic projects, especially in the field of their construction. Local companies are successfully expanding in the EU and around the world. I believe that we will be able to cooperate with Azerbaijan in this direction," the minister said.
According to him, Bulgaria is open to exchange of experience in projects to use the potential of solar energy and water basins, to increase the efficiency of the use of bio-resources, including bio-raw materials and biogas, as well as to manage and dispose of waste and introduce a circular economy.
