In November this year, 17.677 million barrels of oil were transported through Turkey via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, up 2.084 million barrels or 13.36% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the Turkish pipeline operator BOTAS.
In January-November 2021, the BTC pipeline pumped 182.635 million barrels of oil through Turkey, a drop of 8.923 million barrels or 4.65% from the first ten months of 2020.
The BTC pipeline mainly carries oil from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) block of fields and condensate from Shah Deniz. Moreover, other crude oil and condensate volumes, including oil from Turkmenistan, Russia, and Kazakhstan, are transported through the BTC.
