The cost of June futures for Brent oil on the London ICE Futures exchange amounted to $87.46 per barrel. This is $0.46 (0.53%) higher than the previous close.
On April 22, these contracts fell in price by $0.29 (0.3%), to the minimum since March 27, $87 per barrel.
WTI futures for June in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) increased in price by $0.46 (0.56%) to $82.36 per barrel.
According to the results of previous trading, the cost of these contracts decreased by $0.32 (0.4%) to $81.9 per barrel.
May futures, which expired when the market closed the day before, fell $0.29 (0.4%) to $82.85 per barrel.
