Brent oil rises to $78.7 per barrel

Prices for benchmark oil rose on February 7 morning, Report informs referring to Interfax.

The price of April futures for Brent on the London ICE Futures exchange amounted to $78.68 per barrel. This is $0.09 (0.11%) higher than at the close of the previous session.

On February 6, these contracts rose in price by $0.6 (0.8%) to $78.59 per barrel.

Quotes of WTI oil futures for March in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) increased by $0.14 (0.19%), amounting to $73.45 per barrel.

At the end of the last session, they increased by $0.53 (0.7%) to $73.31 per barrel.

Both brands are rising in price for the third day in a row, as investors continue to assess the risks of supply disruptions in the Middle East.

According to analysts, while tension remains in the region, prices on the oil market will be formed taking into account relevant concerns, Trading Economics reports.
