Baku Energy Week is significant event for presenting Azerbaijan's energy potential, says MP

Baku Energy Week is important in terms of presenting Azerbaijan's energy potential and strengthening cooperation in this field, Vugar Bayramov, a member of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis (Parliament), told Report.

The MP highlighted that the participation of representatives and managers of the world's leading energy companies, government officials, and employees of think tanks in the Baku Energy Week turned this event into an important platform:

"The events and sessions held here create opportunities to discuss global energy issues. Strengthening public-private cooperation in the energy sector, and discussion of new ideas will lead to taking real and effective steps in this field, which is also important from the point of view of innovation and technologies."

Bayramov noted that one of the most important points in the energy sector today is innovative changes: "Baku Energy Week provides an opportunity to present new technologies by companies and discuss the results of the fourth industrial revolution in this field.

“From this point of view, the events, exhibitions, and meetings held during the Baku Energy Week are of regional and global importance, they play an important role in showing Azerbaijan's potential in this field as well as its strength,” the MP added.

As reported, the Baku Energy Week kicked off on June 4.
