Azerbaijani, Turkish energy institutions start next meetings

As a continuation of the cooperation relations established within the framework of the First Azerbaijan-Turkiye Energy Forum, the meetings on the second stage of the action plan prepared for cooperation in 2022 between the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) and the Energy Market Regulatory Authority of Turkiye (EMRA) have kicked off, Report informs.

In the meeting with the participation of specialists of the two institutions, the Turkish experience regarding the rules for connecting to the electric grid and using the system, regulating electricity distribution tariffs, and the permissible income limit for energy losses was shared with the experts of AERA.

At the end of the meeting, in order to improve the normative legal framework in the Republic of Azerbaijan regarding both topics, an agreement was reached to continue the consultation-oriented working discussions between the experts of AERA and the speakers.
